Remote Learning Days

Dear Knox Trail Families;

Tomorrow will be a Remote Learning day due to the pending snowstorm. The superintendent has also determined that as a result of the close contacts and confirmed cases experienced of late in our learning community, and in an effort to be proactive coming out of the Holiday Vacation Week, we will reset and ask everyone to adhere to the guidance from CDC, DPH and our local boards of health and quarantine and work remotely for the week of January 4th - 8th, 2021! Since we’ll be teaching remotely again, I’d like to take this opportunity to reiterate how the Remote learning schedule works.
The Remote schedule will start at 8:25 a.m. and go through 12:45 p.m. This Remote schedule will take place from Monday through Friday. Asynchronous learning time will still take place from 1:20 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Teachers will be available to answer student questions virtually, respond to emails, do remedial and enrichment work as needed, grading, common planning with colleagues, communicating with parents, students, and administration. Here’s the bottom line, we’re going to be doing things the same way that we have been for the past several months!
Starting tomorrow and during the week of January 4th – 8th, 2021, we’ll teach remotely using the above guidelines.
Thanks again for your continued support. Have a safe and restful holiday break!

Ralph
