Dear Sixth Grade Families;
Unfortunately, our Art Teacher is unavailable to teach her regularly scheduled Art Class for the upcoming term. However, we’re very excited to offer our Sixth-grade students a Drama class taught by Mr. Lewis!
Drama class allows students to participate in creative dramatic activities, including performances in front of an audience. Students will be exposed to different theatre aspects, including acting skills, improvisation, monologues, staging a scene, playwriting, prop selection, costuming, set design, and more.
The class will work on creative thinking skills, encourage teamwork, boost self-confidence through public speaking, and provide students with enriched learning experiences in performing arts.
Mr. Lewis has a wealth of experience producing plays and musicals. I’m confident that he’s going to provide our students with an exciting opportunity to learn about the performing arts!
