This year, we have done parent pick up in the afternoon when the last bus leaves the school. With the full return of grades 5 & 6, we have experienced a significant increase in the number of parents arriving after school to pick up their children. This situation has caused traffic issues. When grades 7 & 8 return full-time on April 26th, the problem may be even worse.
To alleviate this problem, I'd like to allow parent pick up to begin at 1:00 p.m. Hopefully, most of you will have departed before the busses get here between 1:10 - 1:15 p.m. We'll start this on a trial basis tomorrow, April 7th.
If you arrive after the busses have already arrived, please be patient. You may have to wait until they depart. They are on a very tight schedule that includes stops to the high school and middle school.
