IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION!

David Prouty Friends, Families and Students:

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to address an important matter regarding the upcoming school year and parking.

As you may have noticed, our school is undergoing an exciting renovation project aimed at improving our facilities. However, this also means that we will have a limited number of parking spots available during the 2023-24 school year.

At this time, we have identified 21 parking spots for student parking. We will be implementing a lottery system to assign spots to students. Entering the lottery is free. To enter the lottery, please complete the student parking form  and submit by email to sara.kinnas@sebrsd.org by August 15th.

Student Parking Permit

Payment of $50 will be required by August 22nd to secure the spot.  Students who do not receive a registered spot will be unable to park their car at David Prouty and will have to either take the bus or secure alternative transportation.

Visitor spots will be identified for the public that have business at the school. Visitors who park in these spots will need to sign in at the main office.

To be absolutely clear, the limited parking situation at David Prouty means strict enforcement of parking permits and assigned parking. While this is something we absolutely want to avoid, unregistered cars parked at David Prouty will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Rest assured that we are actively collaborating with the building project managers to identify any possible additional parking spots. Students who do not initially receive a spot will be placed in a waitlist and additional parking will be awarded in order of the waitlist as additional spots are identified.

Thank you for your attention to these guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we navigate this parking situation during the renovation project. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to school administration by email or phone.

Thank you,

Mr. Malone
