Parent Workshop

6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Please join us as we discuss behavior as communication and how our response can influence behavior. Erin Hutchins, BCBA, LABA will address how the function of behavior determines how we should be responding. We will look at ways to determine the possible function of a behavior and then share strategies.
Topics will include: functions of behavior, antecedents and consequences, positive and negative reinforcement, antecedent management, and replacement behaviors. In addition, Micayla Kennen, Jayne Hines, and Amanda Hull will share information with parents about the Three Cheers for Preschool Curriculum, demonstrate how books and games can be used at home through the parent portal, and provide an overview of school routines.
This special evening will occur at East Brookfield Elementary School. Doors will open at 5:45 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Child care will be provided with advanced registration.
