  Celebrating the Class of 2026

First and foremost, congratulations to the David Prouty High School Class of 2026! Watching our seniors cross the stage at graduation is the ultimate highlight of the academic year. This graduating class has demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic excellence, artistic talent, and athletic prowess. Whether you are heading to college, entering the workforce, or serving in the military, the entire Panther family is incredibly proud of you. Remember that you will always have a home here in SEBRSD.

End-of-Year Highlights & Successes

Across all our schools—from Wire Village School and East Brookfield Elementary to Knox Trail Middle School and David Prouty High School—this month is packed with meaningful events. We are wrapping up end-of-year concerts, field days, academic awards assemblies, and moving-up ceremonies. Thank you to our educators and PTOs for organizing these memorable experiences that celebrate our students' hard work and growth.

District Updates & Summer Planning

While our classrooms will soon empty, the district's work continues through the summer months.

  • Summer Learning Programs: We are excited to offer our robust summer enrichment and academic support programs. Registered families will receive detailed scheduling and transportation information in the coming days.

  • Facility Enhancements: Our maintenance and facilities teams will work hard over the break to complete routine upgrades, deep cleaning, and campus improvements, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment when we return.

  • Budget Planning: We remain committed to fiscal responsibility and transparency. Thank you to the residents of Spencer and East Brookfield for your engagement and support during our annual town meetings and budget process. Your investment directly impacts the resources and opportunities available to our students.

Looking Ahead

Please keep an eye on your email and the district website over the summer for important updates regarding the 2026–2027 school year, including supply lists, bus routes, and orientation dates.

To our students, I challenge you to keep reading, stay active, and explore the outdoors over the next few months. To our staff, thank you for your tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to public education.
