David Prouty High School Announces Exciting Opportunity!
HE-100: Personal Health is a FREE 3-credit college course open to current David Prouty High School students, students from other MA high schools, and recent 2026 Graduates!
In addition to earning college credit, David Prouty students who successfully complete the course will satisfy a MassCore Wellness requirement, helping to free up space in schedules for electives, AP & CTE courses, and additional Early College opportunities!
Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 11:30 AM, from July 7th to August 20th! The course will consist of:
12 online synchronous classes attended from the comfort of your own home (or vacation!) via Zoom with live instruction from a Worcester State University professor
2 in-person classes (dates TBD) held on the Worcester State University campus, with transportation provided by the David Prouty High School Early College Grant
Students interested in registering should complete the attached registration form by Tuesday, June 16th. Enrollment will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 25 students accepted.
