David Prouty High School European Travelers (2026 Edition), Day 9: Budapest! The last day before flight home. We toured Budapest today, seeing the presidential palace, Matthias church, the chain bridge, and the parliament building, among a few other major landmarks. Students were able to walk around the center and see the history as well as shop a little. Enjoyed our last dinner as a family on this trip and ready to go home.










Tomorrow our team takes the mat at the CMAC Leagues Qualifier and we are READY!

Prouty Girls Varsity Basketball enters the Division 5 MIAA Tourney as they travel to McCann Technical High School on Wednesday, 2/25 at 6:00 pm. McCann Tech is located at 70 Hodges Cross Road, North Adams. Tickets will be cash only: $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and children.


Congratulations to the Division 5 # 4 seed David Prouty Boys basketball team in the upcoming state playoffs! They will be hosting a round of 32 game, later in the week. Details to follow.

David Prouty European Travelers - Day 7: Took a tour around Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration camp. Students had some powerful moments and were able to take knowledge they previously had and see it. After that, students went to the Salt Mine where they traveled 800 steps down to the depths and learned about the purpose of the mine and what its significance is. Ending the night with a tradition polish dinner with some of the best perogies! And I found a kitty at the hotel!
Next day will be mainly a travel day to bring us to our final destination Budapest!

David Prouty HS European Travelers, Day 6: Bog travel day to Krakow. Lots of sleeping and snacks on this ride. We arrived to Krakow around 5pm and took a tour with Greg around the center of town.
Tomorrow will be an emotional day with Auschwitz and Salt Mine.

David Prouty HS European Travelers Day 3: Berlin! We visited Jewish Museum and Topography of Terror museum. Saw parts of the Berlin Wall and many historical buildings. Some great food and great memories built taking the metro and tram. Beautiful city with some fantastic students!
