SPENCER, MA – The Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District and Superintendent Paul Haughey are pleased to announce the selection of veteran educator Jason Webster as the next Principal of Knox Trail Middle School. Mr. Webster will officially assume his new leadership role beginning this summer, succeeding Sean McNiff.
Mr. Webster brings a wealth of administrative and instructional experience within Massachusetts public schools, establishing a proven track record of student-centered leadership and collaborative team building. He previously served as the Principal of Quinn Middle School in Hudson, Massachusetts. After Quinn MS I was Principal at Hawthorne Brook MS in Townsend, before my recent three years at Athol-Royalston Middle School.

"His deep familiarity with middle school dynamics and passion for elementary education, paired with his strong foundation as an instructional leader, makes him the ideal choice to guide Knox Trail Middle School forward and build upon its proud traditions of academic and extracurricular excellence".
Mr. Webster began his career in education as a mathematics teacher at Notre Dame Preparatory School in Fitchburg and later taught math at both the middle and high school levels in Marlborough. He also spent time serving students as a long-term substitute teacher at Framingham High School. Known for his dedicated and collaborative approach, Webster prioritizes building strong partnerships among staff, students, and families to foster high expectations and a positive school culture.
"I look forward to starting meaningful conversations with the faculty, staff, and families of Knox Trail Middle School this summer," said Webster. "My goal is to ensure every student feels known, supported, and challenged as we work together to prepare them for lifelong success".
The community will have several opportunities to meet and welcome Principal Webster during upcoming district orientation events ahead of the new school year.
