Yesterday, March 2nd, 2026, the Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District held a "Topping Off Ceremony" for David Prouty High School, celebrating the final steel beam being lifted and set in place - complete with signatures from students, staff, and community members. A student-led speech by Senior Class President, Lauren Tutlis, was the highlight of the morning, as she told community members what it means to have this innovative learning space for the future of our communities... We are here because of you and your tireless partnership and support. The David Prouty boys basketball team will host Hopkins Academy of Hadley in their round of 32 game of the division 5 playoffs, on Friday February 27, at 6:00 pm. Tickets will be cash only $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors over 65 are free.
Due to ongoing construction and the accumulation of snow, there will be overflow parking with a free shuttle located at Wire Village Elementary school, located at 60 Paxton Road, Spencer. This will be available from 5:30-6:30 and immediately following the conclusion of the game.

And we made it back! The last 10 days were made of memories the will never forget. They saw Berlin, Dresden, Krakow, Prague, and Budapest. We are proud of all the students who represent David Prouty and America so well while being abroad and couldn't have had a better group.
