CMRPC Survey 2026

School districts in Central Massachusetts are considering adding an agricultural vocational program, known as a Massachusetts Career Technical Education Chapter 74 Program. These programs prepare students to graduate with skills and credentials that will provide them with advanced employment opportunities if they enter the workforce immediately upon graduation.

Signature components of these programs include at least 900 hours of immersive learning, co-operative education in partnership with local employers, and opportunities to earn high-value, industry-recognized credentials.

The potential program would be a hybrid with enrollment at your district high school. There are four potential pathways:

  • Agricultural Mechanics

  • Animal Science & Veterinary Science

  • Environmental Science and Technology

  • Horticulture

This survey will help your district consider which program is best for the region. All answers are hypothetical and non-binding. To take the survey, click here.
