Spencer-East Brookfield SEPAC
The Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is a collaborative group of parents/guardians. Each school district is required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to have a parent advisory council. We work to enhance the educational experience of execptional children.
The mission of Spencer-East Brookfield SEPAC is to facilitate understanding, respect, and appropriate education for all children, while also supporting families and educators who are also striving for the same.
We can be reached by Email, or through the Director of Student Services, Kara Westerman, at (508) 885-8515 Ext. 5.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, continued school closures have resulted in loss of meeting space for our monthly SEPAC meetings to be held in person. In the interest of public safety and due to lack of meeting space, we will be holding our next SEPAC meeting via ZOOM video conferencing.
The meeting will be held during the scheduled date on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
Below is the information you will need to access Zoom. You do not need to sign up for a Zoom account but do need to add it as an app to your cell phone, laptop or tablet. Those who are unable to participate in the video conference can still participate by phone.
On the agenda for this meeting will be reviewing and approving the May meeting minutes which are attached to this email. If there are any concerns parents or guardians have about their children and remote learning, please feel free to share so we may address any concerns. We will also discuss presentation and workshop ideas for the upcoming school year.
