Good Afternoon to our WVS Family,
Today, we have good news regarding the trial run of a new Food Service Program to deliver meals today and Wednesday of this week. We are hopeful you were able to sign up last Friday for a meal delivery today, but also to let you know it’s not too late to sign up now for the Wednesday delivery. We received calls to see if the regular food pick-up is still being offered and the response is YES. Meal Pick-Up at Knox Trail and East Brookfield is still scheduled for Monday and Wednesday of this week from 10 am to 1 pm. It is certainly good to hear such good news and it’s our pleasure to be able to offer it.
We would like to thank you again for your partnership with us during this Remote Learning Time. We understand these days or times may be challenging and we are here to support in any way we can.
There are so many unprecedented things in this past year, which even adults may find hard to grasp or understand. The good news is we are not alone. Talking to family and friends helps us as adults. When asked how we can support our students, we encourage the basics: to listen, to reassure, and to be honest and open in responses that are appropriate to the age of the child. There are many resources out there to help. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
While we may not know what is ahead in the next days or weeks, we know that working together is how we best help each other and our students.
