EAST BROOKFIELD, MA - February 28, 2024 - Cubs’ Corner Preschool offered another workshop opportunity for preschool parents on Wednesday, February 28th, on promoting communication skills. The evening was well-attended due to the availability of childcare provided by student representatives from the Early Education and Care from David Prouty High School.
Sargent Magierowski from the East Brookfield Police Department was present to share important information regarding car seat safety for parents. Janet Lamoureux, provided strategies for parents to support the development and use of language in their young child. Our own preschool teachers, Micayla Kennen and Alyssa Lajoie, facilitated a salt painting experience and shared information with parents about fun free local activities for young children. We enjoyed meaningful discussion related to these important topics.
We are grateful to the parents who attended the evening in support of the Cubs’ Corner Preschool Program and extend thanks to the school staff who willingly shared their expertise in order to help this be a successful evening.
Appreciation is extended to Ms. Ashley Leveillee and her high school students from the Early Education and Care program for providing an evening of fun for our little ones.
