Spencer, MA - On Wednesday, January 15, representatives from the Spencer–East Brookfield Teachers’ Association (SEBTA) and the Spencer–East Brookfield Regional School District (SEBRSD) reached a tentative three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to commence July 1, 2025. A draft of the CBA was reviewed by lawyers representing the District, the Massachusetts Teachers’ Association, as well as representatives from both sides. After the agreement was fully vetted, the CBA was ratified by both the SEBRSD School Committee and the SEBTA membership.
Representatives have been working toward this agreement for several months. By putting in the effort necessary, we believe that agreeing to this CBA in a timely manner allows us to remain focused on the many exciting things happening within the Spencer–East Brookfield Regional School District. We thank everyone involved for their hard work, dedication, and countless hours spent completing this agreement. We also thank the Spencer and East Brookfield communities for their continued support of our students.
Sincerely Yours,
