SPENCER, MA
Are you passionate about ensuring every student has the tools they need to thrive?
We are looking for dedicated parents and guardians to help us build a strong, collaborative, and proactive Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC).
A SEPAC is more than just a meeting; it is a vital bridge between families and the school district. It provides a platform for the student body’s voice to be heard in the world of special education, ensuring that the unique needs of our learners are at the forefront of district decision-making.
Why Your Voice Matters
We believe that the best support systems are built through partnership. We are looking for a diverse group of parents to:
Collaborate directly with school leadership to improve programs and services.
Advocate for inclusive practices that benefit students who require extra support.
Support fellow families by sharing resources and navigating the educational journey together.
Empower our students by ensuring their lived experiences inform district policy.
Building a Stronger Community
Whether your child has an IEP, a 504 Plan, or you are simply interested in supporting those who learn differently, your perspective is invaluable. By working together with the district, we can create an environment where every student, regardless of their challenges, feels supported, understood, and successful.
Ready to make a difference? Contact the Student Services Department and help us build a SEPAC that truly represents our amazing students.
Thanks,
