Earlier in the holiday season, our district received a donation of Covid-19 test kits that had been made by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), Department of Public Health (DPH), and Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) to the school districts of the Commonwealth. We understand the holidays can be a hectic time, filled with many gatherings and functions. With gatherings, comes the risk of increased illness exposure and the potential spread of illness. For this reason, we have been given a supply of Covid-19 test kits to be divided amongst our school children and staff. Each individual will receive 1 box which includes 2 test kits. Please note, each box has a sticker with a QR code to scan for updated expiration dates.
Throughout this week our school nurses will distribute test kits to students. Additionally, staff may come by the nurse's office in their respective school anytime this week for test kit pick up. As a reminder, Covid-19 test kits are meant for home use.
