On a chilly Saturday morning, eight track athletes got on the bus to the MSTCA Speed Classic. When they got back on the bus, all eight were school record holders! The girls 4 by 200 relay team of Alivia Sauvageau, Lauren Tutlis, Eliana Barnett, and 7th grader Zoe Barnett set a new record of 2:00.75. The boys 4 by 200 of Lawrence Austia, Elijah Barnett, Finn Hitchner, and James McNicol shattered the previous record, held in part by Baltimore Ravens full back Pat Ricard by 3 seconds, running a 1:45.97! Individual performances also included a 300m personal record by James McNicol and a Eliana Barnett's 4th place finish in the 55m against over 200 other sprinters.
